Xelius DRS, performance in perfect comfort.
By making the radical choice to merge the best of two bikes that incorporate many professional victories, the Lapierre engineers made a bold choice. However, this machine cannot be reduced to speed alone: its new sleek lines and clean design (especially visible at the fork) offer a whole new perspective. In fact, the 3D Tubular technology, which has been meticulously reworked, frees up the whole seat post, allowing it to bend throughout its entire length.
As a result, comfort is significantly improved and subtly complements the responsive geometry of the rear triangle. Performance in perfect comfort is therefore confirmed by compatibility with a wide variety of tyres (up to 32mm) to cover a multitude of surfaces (paved roads, off-road, gravel paths, etc.). A born competitor!
Key Features
- Components for ambition: Everything on this bike takes you further. Starting with the DT Swiss E1800 Spline alu wheels known for their unprecedented responsiveness. You'll also appreciate the Lapierre handlebar that creates a responsive cockpit perfect for clocking up the miles.
- Carbon frame: Lightweight, stiff and at the same time still flexible material that absorbs shocks well and increases comfort. A higher price is to be expected.
- Hydraulic disc brakes: Reliable in all conditions, better modulation of the braking effect with the use of less force on the lever. Heavier weight, more demanding service.
