To avoid damage to the paint, it makes sense to clean the clamping area of the frame beforehand. Both clamping jaws have recesses for slides. Note the position of the cables before closing the retaining claw. To avoid accidents or damage to the bicycle, the working height should only be adjusted without the bicycle jammed. A slightly sloping position of the bicycle in the mounting stand in the direction of travel prevents the handlebar and front wheel from turning over.
