- FC-R8000 (The left crank of FC-R8000 is not subject to inspection)
- FC-6800 (The left crank of FC-6800 is not subject to inspection)

If you own one of these cranksets, check if your example is subject to the recall by reference to the Model and Production Code.
The following Production Numbers require inspection:
If your Chainset is manufactured in any of these Production batches, please refer it to your Local Shimano Service Centre, such as All Terrain Cycles.
They will inspect it for cracks or steps as below :
Righthand Crank Arm
Lefthand Crankarm
If your crankset shows any signs of cracking or steps it will be replaced with a 12 speed spider and appropriate 11 speed chainrings.
